Story Summary:
When Ter enrolls in university, he finds a new circle of
friends—but also comes face-to-face with his ex-lover, Hill, who is now the
Student Council President. Despite the awkwardness, Ter is convinced to attend
a dinner with the council members, where Hill secretly posts a photo of Ter’s
hand and watch on social media, stirring up curiosity.
Trying to avoid the growing tension, Ter calls in sick.
However, Hill shows up at his place and discovers the lie. Instead of getting
angry, Hill invites Ter on a quiet visit to a temple—framing it as a secret
date—where he confesses he still wants to be with him.
Later, when the two run into Hill’s friend Johan at a
restaurant, Johan asks who Ter is. Hill replies that Ter is his Nong (a term
for a younger companion) whom he wants to date. He later posts a picture of
them holding hands on his social media, signaling his intentions publicly.
Knowing Ter’s passion for photography, Hill asks Mei Li to
invite Ter as the event photographer. During the event, Hill grows visibly
jealous when other male students get close to Ter. His friends—Johan, Tonfah,
and Arthit—tease him mercilessly about his feelings. Eventually, after mutual
confessions, Hill and Ter share their first kiss in a long time.
Hill then publicly declares his wish to date Ter. However,
the announcement draws criticism, and someone insults Ter. Unable to stay
silent, Hill throws a punch at the offender. The stress becomes too much for
Ter, who flees the scene. Hill, concerned, sends Johan to check on him. That’s
when Johan meets Ter’s roommate, North, for the first time.
Although Ter and Hill are now a couple, Ter still has
unanswered questions about their past and Hill’s sudden disappearance during
their earlier relationship. Meanwhile, Ter and North start part-time jobs at a
Japanese restaurant.
North, while partying at a bar, runs into his love rival and
starts a fight. Johan shows up just in time to save him and takes him home. In
a drunken sleep, North ends up breaking several things in Johan’s apartment.
Johan demands compensation—with interest. North agrees to take on more work to
pay the debt, but Johan makes him a deal: he’ll cancel the interest if North
agrees to do anything he says.
North later gets a job at a bar, but Johan disapproves and
personally fetches him from his room, taking him back to his place.
Meanwhile, Ter meets Thunmild, a girl who had always liked
Hill. She reveals the truth behind Ter and Hill’s breakup: a heartbreaking
misunderstanding where each thought the other had abandoned them. She also asks
if Ter knows what happened to Hill’s grandmother. Curious and frustrated by
Hill’s silence, Ter begins asking Hill’s friends for answers.
North’s ex tries to rekindle their past relationship, but he
firmly refuses. Later, when North is harassed at work, Johan steps in once
again to protect him. This moment of vulnerability leads to their first kiss.
Eventually, Hill and Ter talk things through, clear up the
misunderstandings, and finally reconcile for real.
Johan continues to forbid North from working at the bar,
though North is determined to repay his debts. Meanwhile, North’s friend Dao
mistakenly believes North is the object of Tiger’s affection—when in fact,
Tiger has a crush on Nao.
North and Johan grow increasingly close. Unbeknownst to
North, Johan has liked him for years—ever since he used to see North at a
gaming center. When Johan has to travel to Boston for work, North misses him
deeply but tries to stay strong to avoid being a burden. Upon Johan’s return,
they go on a heartfelt date.
Meanwhile, Ter and North move in with Hill and Johan
respectively, mostly due to jealousy over their close friendship.
Eventually, North learns that Johan has liked him for three
years. Johan, on the other hand, discovers the pain behind North’s past breakup
and secretly gives him a duck plushie to cheer him up—without revealing he was
the one who sent it. Even though Johan finds out North plans to study abroad,
he holds off on pursuing anything deeper—but is pleasantly surprised when North
ends up at the same university thanks to Hill’s efforts.
At the same time, Ter and North notice something strange between Dao and Tonfah—Dao always leaves when Tonfah appears. Tiger and Nao continue their slow-moving romance, while deeper layers of the group’s interconnected relationships begin to unfold.
