Story Summary:
Tonhon and Chonlatte were childhood neighbors who grew up together. Ton always
treated Chon like a younger brother, but Chon had secretly harbored romantic
feelings for Ton for years.
Believing his love to be unrequited, Chon is stunned to
discover one day that Ton's relationship status is “single” again. Motivated by
hope, he changes his appearance and enrolls in the same college as Ton. When
Ton finds out, he invites Chon to move in with him and his two close friends,
Ai and Nai.
Unbeknownst to Ton, Ai and Nai are a couple. They’ve kept
their relationship hidden from him out of fear—Ton is homophobic, and they
worry he’d cut ties with them if he knew the truth. When Chon moves in, he
quickly picks up on their relationship and understands their caution as he too
fears losing Ton if he reveals his own feelings.
As Ton and Chon grow closer, Chon finds it harder to
suppress his emotions. Ai and Nai, sympathetic and supportive, decide to help
Chon win Ton’s heart and slowly challenge Ton’s views on homosexuality.
Just as Chon starts making progress, Na—a mutual
acquaintance—confesses his feelings to Chon. Chon brushes it off, still focused
on Ton. However, when Ton discovers Chon’s feelings and reacts by rejecting
him, Ai and Nai come up with a plan. They convince Na to pretend to be Chon’s
boyfriend to stir Ton’s emotions. Na agrees, despite knowing it will hurt him,
because he values Chon as a friend and has always appreciated Chon’s honesty.
The plan works—Ton begins to feel jealous and possessive.
During a trip to their hometown, he finally admits his feelings for Chon. Na,
heartbroken but mature, helps Ton understand what Chon means to him, showing
that his love for Chon is selfless.
Just as Ton and Chon begin their relationship, Ton’s
ex-girlfriend, Amp, reappears. During a party, she sends Chon a video of her
kissing Ton. Chon, who had only one condition in their relationship—that Ton
never cheats on him, and he would never cheat on Ton—feels deeply betrayed and
leaves for home to process the pain.
Realizing what has happened, Ton returns to his family home
and makes every effort to win Chon back. With the help of Chon’s mother, who
offers Ton understanding and support, he finally reconciles with Chon.
Ton’s parents, initially homophobic due to concerns about
children, change their perspective when Chon’s mother proposes surrogacy.
Seeing a path to family and legacy, they give the couple their blessing.
Mariam, a close friend who also played a vital role in
bringing Ton and Chon together, agrees to be their surrogate in exchange for a
generous sum—securing a future for Ton and Chon as a family.
