Story Summary:
Khuafah, heartbroken and bitter, was on his way back from his ex-girlfriend’s
wedding when fate struck—literally.
Drunk and reckless, with equally intoxicated friends by his side, he caused an
accident that would change the course of his life.
As punishment, he was sentenced to perform social service.
His assignment? A remote mountain village with no doctor, no signal, and
certainly no escape.
Resentful and sulking, Khuafah and his friends arrived in
the village, only to be greeted by a rundown shelter that barely deserved to be
called quarters. Disgusted, they had no choice but to clean and settle in.
It was then that Khuafah met Prince—a passionate,
no-nonsense volunteer teacher who had come to educate the village children.
Their first encounter was anything but pleasant. Sparks flew, but not the good
kind. They clashed, two strong personalities refusing to back down.
Days turned into weeks, and slowly, beneath the sarcasm and
snide remarks, something else began to bloom. They began to see past each
other’s facades. The anger melted, the pride cracked, and what was left was
something far more vulnerable.
In the quiet moments under the mountain skies, Prince fell
for Fah.
When Khuafah realized he, too, had fallen, he didn’t
hesitate. He rushed back to the mountains, heart pounding, to tell Prince how
he truly felt.
And to his relief, Prince felt the same.
That day, under the starlit sky, their story began—not with
fireworks, but with the soft, sure promise of something real.
