Story Summary:
On his last day of high school, Daonuea confesses his
long-harbored feelings to his crush, Khabkluen. Kluen gently rejects him,
wishing him a safe flight as Daonuea leaves for Germany to continue his
studies.
Two years later, Daonuea returns to Thailand and enrolls in
university. To his surprise, he reunites with Kluen—and they end up becoming
dorm mates. For Daonuea, sharing a space with the boy he once loved is a quiet
struggle.
Among their dorm mates is Typhoon, who openly declares his
crush on Daonuea. Around the same time, Daonuea injures himself while
practicing his runway walk. He’s helped by Khuafah, his elder half-brother.
However, since their relationship isn’t public knowledge, many assume they’re
dating.
When Typhoon learns that Fah is Daonuea’s half-brother, he
wastes no time in confessing his feelings sincerely.
Unknown to Dao, Kluen had already broken up with his
girlfriend Georgia shortly after Daonuea's high school confession and
departure. He had realized that his feelings for her were protective, not
romantic.
As Daonuea agrees to go on a date with Typhoon—partly to
move on from Kluen and partly because he couldn't bring himself to reject
Typhoon—Kluen begins to feel the sting of regret. He sees, perhaps too late,
that he had always been one step behind.
Once Kluen discovers the truth behind Dao's reasons for
dating Typhoon, he decides to act. He opens up to Daonuea, admitting that he
had always noticed him, especially when Dao used to create art for him on his
behalf so that he wouldn’t fail the subject. Kluen gives Daonuea a sunflower
bracelet—something he had bought with the intention of giving before Dao left
for Germany.
Moved by Kluen’s sincerity, Daonuea chooses him. They get
together.
Though Typhoon is heartbroken, he had braced himself for this outcome. Dao and Kluen apologize for unintentionally hurting him. With grace, Typhoon forgives them, choosing friendship over resentment.
